On behalf of the Organizing Committee, We are glad and honored to invite you to join the Workshop on Intelligent Information Systems (WIIS2020), which will be held on December 04-05, 2020, in Chisinau, Republic of Moldova.
The Workshop is organized by the Vladimir Andrunachievici Institute of Mathematics and Computer Science. Invited speakers: - Prof. Dr. Stefan Pickl, Institute for Theoretical Computer Science, Mathematics and Operations Research, Bundeswehr University Munich (Germany). - Dr. Andrei Alexandru, Institute of Computer Science of the Romanian Academy, Iaşi (Romania). The conference encompasses a broad spectrum of intelligent information systems related subjects. It is devoted to discussion of current research and applications regarding development, implementation and promotion of advanced emergent Information Systems and Technologies. Two conference formats Face-to-face Video-conferencing. This format is introduced because of possible COVID-19 restrictions. Topics of interest include, but are not restricted to the following areas: Theoretical Computer Science; Formal Models of Computing; Information Technologies Applications in Knowledge-Based Society; Decision Support Systems; Intelligent Agents and Multi-Agent Systems; Knowledge Engineering and Management; Image Processing; Medical & Diagnostic Systems; Natural Language Processing; Human-Centered Computing; Intelligent User Interfaces. Participants are invited to submit high quality papers reporting on original research, scientific results and experiences addressing the outlined topics. Papers (4-8 pages) should be written in English and sent to the Organizing Committee via email wiis2020@math.md until October 24, 2020. Accepted papers will be published in the Workshop Proceedings for the opening of the workshop and posted on the WIIS2020 site. Publications Workshop Proceedings (which will be distributed at the Workshop opening and posted on the WIIS2020 site) Selected papers in extended format will be included into a Special Issue of Computer Science Journal of Moldova (CSJM, ISSN 1561-4042, indexed in Web of Science Clarivate Analytics - Emerging Sources Citation Index, SCOPUS, MathSciNet, DBLP, EBSCO etc.).
