Defense Science Research Conference and Expo (DSR 2011) is about research and applications in the field of science, innovation and technology that are specifically targeted at topics attributable to the advances within the defense industry.

DSR 2011 hopes to create a platform for researchers and practitioners from all over the world to meet up and share their relevant experiences and knowledge. The primary objective is to enable researchers and practitioners working in similar areas to share their results within the limitations of unclassified research and developments. Through this event, we hope to enable interaction between the researchers and practitioners.
DSR-2011 will be held from 21-24 June 2011. This event is organized by the Mixed Reality Lab & the Social Robotics Lab, National University of Singapore. This event is supported by numerous agencies.

This conference is technically sponsored by IEEE. All accepted and presented papers will be indexed in IEEE Explore.

International Conference on Defence Science and Technology
The International Conference on Defence Science and Technology will be a platform for academics and researchers in defence related institutions to show case their research work through an international conference lined with plenary lectures from renowned speakers, oral presentations and poster presentations. All accepted papers presented through oral or poster mode at the conference would be accepted into the Engineering Index via the IEEE Explore. Full papers will be published in the conference proceedings.

Another interesting feature within the conference program would be an open platform for researchers from different institutions to set up their demos for the viewing by decision makers of international defence science organizations. This platform would be known as the Defence Technology Demo (DTD) showcase.
