The aim of the International Cyber Resilience Conference is to bring together practitioner, academics and Government agencies to discuss and explore issues relating to cyber resilience of information systems and critical infrastructures. The conference is meant to not only consider technical cyber security issues, but also the human factors that impact the risks associated with the secure management of critical infrastructures. In addition how all factors in combination can impact the timely response and recovery of systems and critical infrastructures.
The conference is across four main themes of • Incident Response & Recovery • Human Factors, • Cyber Security • Risk Management During the conference, in addition to the academic paper tracks there will be a series of practical demonstration sessions specifically targeted at informing business users and owners of the real threat of cyber attack. These sessions will allow interested conference delegates to observe how even simple cyber attacks on computers, networks and mobile telephones can significantly impact a business's bottom line. Following the conference, on Wednesday and Thursday there will be additional hands-on workshops. |
