Call for papers: 3SL workshop 2nd workshop on Security of System and Software resiLiency http://www.univ-orleans.fr/lifo/evenements/3SL November 20-23, 2012 Besancon, France ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- The 3SL workshop aims at bringing together researchers and practitioners working in the areas of system security and dependability in relation with the Internet of the things so as to present original results and innovative applications during a half-day workshop taking place in conjunction with iThings 2012 , GreenCom 2012, CPSCom 2012. Topics of interest include (but are not restricted to): - Security and dependability in the Internet of the things - Security and distributed software, - Security of large-scale infrastructures, - Security in embedded systems, - Security and operating systems, - Security and programming languages, - Security of transactions, - Security of smartphones - Ubiquitous comuting security - Security policies and access control, - Trust and middleware, - Intrusion and anomaly detection, - Dependability assessment, test and validation, - Certification models for dependable systems, - Evaluation and measure of dependability properties, - Visualization of security, - Trust management and reputation - Security and dependability verification and validation Proceedings of the 3SL workshop will be published by IEEE Computer Society (EI indexed). Selected papers will be invited to submit an extended version for further reviews in the open access Future Internet journal. ***************** Important Dates ***************** Paper submission: September 15, 2012 (firm deadline). Decision notification: October 1, 2012. Camera ready: October 15, 2012 Workshop: November 20-23, 2012 ************************* Submission instructions ************************* Authors are invited to submit full papers (max 6 pages) or short papers (max 3 pages), where the page limit includes figures, tables, and references. Short papers should clearly present the research area of authors and sum up the preliminary contributions and/or results. Full papers should develop the author's contributions and results details. Submitted papers will receive 3 peer reviews. Accepted papers will be published by IEEE Computer Society (EI indexed). Papers should be formatted in the standard two-column, 10 pt font, IEEE conference paper format. The camera ready version of the paper should include a short biography of the main author that will present the paper at the workshop.
