The IVth International Conference on Biotechniques for Air Pollution Control (Biotechniques-2011),would be held in La Coruña, Spain from October 12 - 14, 2011. Biotechniques-2011 covers a wide range of topics pertaining to the application of environmental biotechnology for air pollution control and related areas.

Recently, the application range of bioprocesses has been extended to treat pollutants from a wide variety of contaminated sources.The conference opens new doors to industrial partners in order to facilitate research cooperation between academics and industries, potentially allowing commercialization of new biotechniques.


Prospective authors are invited to submit original research and application oriented papers in areas relating the application of bioprocesses for air pollution control.


Abstract submission

Abstracts of maximum two A4-pages should be submitted by e-mail, as an attached word-file, to the organizing committee (Kennes@udc.es), before April 30, 2011. It should include the name of all contributing authors with their affiliation. Those who prefer to have a poster presentation can mention it when sending the abstract.

Authors will be informed of the acceptance of their abstract around June 2011.
