The Fourth International Conference on Information Systems and Software Technologies (ICI2ST 2023) is organized by the Faculty of Systems Engineering of Escuela Politécnica Nacional of Ecuador. The conference will take place on November 22 – 24, 2023. All conference activities will be held in virtual format via videoconference.

ICI2ST 2023 aims to bring together researchers, speakers and industry practitioners worldwide who are developing cutting-edge research related to all aspects of Information Systems, Software Technologies, and Applied Computing. We invite you to submit your original research papers to be considered for presentation at the conference.

Topics of interest for paper submissions include, but are not limited to:

- Information Systems
- Software Technologies
- Security and Privacy
- Technology Trends
- Social and Professional Topics

Accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings in IEEE Xplore and indexed in Scopus for full research papers. Selected best papers will have the opportunity to submit an extended version in Revista Politécnica [https://revistapolitecnica.epn.edu.ec/], also indexed in Scopus.
Additionally, selected papers can be submitted to Latin American Journal of Computing [https://lajc.epn.edu.ec/], indexed in Latindex.

1st Submission Round (expired):
* Paper submission deadline: June 27, 2023 (extended)
* Notification of acceptance: July 25, 2023
* Camera-ready paper submission: July 31, 2023

2nd Submission Round (current):
* Paper submission deadline: August 07, 2023 (hard deadline)
* Notification of acceptance: August 28, 2023
* Camera-ready paper submission: September 05, 2023


Submission Guidelines:

* ICI2ST 2023 accepts submissions of original, unpublished full research papers and research-in-progress papers, both being of remarkable research quality.
* All papers must be 6 to 8-page-long (including references and appendices), written in English or Spanish using the IEEE Conference format
* ICI2ST follows a double-blind peer-reviewing procedure, which means that authors must ensure that their manuscripts are prepared in a way that does not give away their identity
