The 6th IFIP/IEEE Distributed Autonomous Network Management Systems 2013 (DANMS 2013) workshop is part of a series of workshops dedicated to advances in network management and the applications of new management principles in network design. This year the DANMS 2013 will be held on 31 May 2013 at Ghent University, Belgium, co-located with 13th IFIP/IEEE International Symposium on Integrated Network Management (IM 2013).

With the emergence of cloud computing, increasing IT capabilities and resources are provided as services, via the Internet for on-demand access at anywhere anytime. Networks provide the delivery platform for services and it is important for network operators to ensure the reliability of the delivery platform so that both service providers and consumers can trust and rely on the network. Many aspects of cloud services including, large number of services, rapid evolvement of service implementations, virtualized infrastructures, large number of users, lack of direct control over services, etc., make network operators face great challenges on network management for service delivery. DANMS 2013 will focus on “Managing Networks for Service Delivery”.

Academic and industrial researchers are invited to submit full papers (6 pages, double column) describing original work relating to the topics presented. All manuscripts must be written in English and should be prepared in IEEE conference style. All submitted papers will be reviewed by the members of DANMS Technical Program Committee. All accepted papers will be published in IEEE Xplore. Papers will be withdrawn from IEEE Xplore in case the authors do not present their paper at the workshop.
