Call For Papers

Opportunities for anti-social behaviour on the Internet are in abundance, including Internet trolling and other forms of cyber-crime. Little understood are some of the more lawful kinds of problematic Internet use, such as compulsive use of websites to gain gratifying experiences. Where such compulsive use affects relationships with others and one's own personal health it might be thought of as an addition. Concepts like Internet addiction have been formed based on comparisons to gambling addiction, whereas others prefer to use the term 'gaming addiction' to refer to the seductive properties of the Internet that drive compulsive behavior.
