The Institute of Applied Mechanics and Informatics, Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology is organizing the first International Conference on Control, Automation and Information Sciences (ICCAIS 2012) from November 26-29, 2012. ICCAIS 2012, technically co-sponsored by the IEEE Vietnam Section and IEEE Control System Society (confirming), will be held at the beautiful CBD of Ho Chi Minh City (Formerly known as Saigon), Vietnam. This conference provides a forum for regional and international researchers, engineers and practitioners to get together, discuss and present relevant achievements, challenges, innovation as well as future direction in control, automation and information sciences research and practice.
Topics of the conference include but are not limited to:

- Control Theory and Application: Identification and Estimation, Linear / Nonlinear control, Nonlinear systems, Process control and monitoring, Adaptive/ Robust control, Model predictive control, Intelligent control, Networked control systems, Control engineering education, Robot control

- Automation and Robotics: Mobile robotics, Service and field robotics, Bio-robotics and Medical robotics, Humanoid robotics, Unmanned vehicle systems, Mobile robot navigation, guidance and control, Man-Machine Interaction, Intelligent automation, Factory modeling and simulation, Intelligent building, Mechanism design and applications

- Information Sciences: Human-Computer Interaction, Tracking and Surveillance, Signal processing and Sensor fusion, Image processing and Multimedia systems, Computational and Artificial intelligence, Virtual Reality based simulation, Bio-medical signal processing

Paper Submission

Authors are invited to submit English written, original work. Accepted papers will be published in the 2012 ICCAIS Proceedings which will be included in IEEE Xplore, normally EI and SCOPUS indexed, and sent for review to be indexed in ISI proceedings
