The number of connected IoT devices is exploding during the last years. This is bringing several challenges to be addressed when it comes to building efficient and reliable IoT systems. The devices involved in these applications are getting smaller and smarter, while the conditions and constraints to be satisfied are increasingly complex. In addition, with the aim of increasing user satisfaction, these devices should be aware of the context, knowing the user's preferences and needs; so that they can adapt their behavior to each situation. Further increasing, their complexity.

These challenges pose some questions that need further discussion from researchers: How to enable collecting, managing and sharing massive amounts of data with other connected “things” and/or prospective software in the Cloud? How this information could be used to adapt the smart devices’ behavior? What is the role of the (Mobile) Cloud Computing and the Fog Computing?

ISyCC Workshop will be a forum for academics, industrial researchers, developers, and practitioners to discuss challenges and advances in Internet of Things, (Mobile) Cloud Computing, Distributed and Cloud-Aware IoT systems, Context-Awareness and (Mobile) Crowdsensing. It is also especially relevant for the workshop the application of these paradigms in real environments and situations within a smart city, such as smart transportation, pollution, smart tourism, well-being, etc.

Papers Submission:

Authors are invited to submit full papers (maximum length of 12 pages, including all references and figures). Papers should be formatted according to Springer’s LNCS formatting guidelines.

Accepted papers will be included in the workshop proceedings published as part of the Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) series of Springer.

For each accepted paper, at least one author must attend the workshop and present the paper. Registration is subject to the terms and conditions of ICSOC.
