The Sixth International Workshop on E-Transactions Systems
(ETS 2013)

CALL FOR PAPERS

As part of the 2013 International Conference on Collaboration Technologies and Systems
(CTS 2013)
May 20 - 24, 2012
San Diego, California, USA

Submission Deadline: January 15, 2013

Brief Description:
E-transactions systems involve three or more partners in the exchange and sharing of information concerning trades, payments, services and other activities. These include customers communicate through architectures to service providers. We can consider that e-transactions evolve in an area where all these partners collaborate toward achieving similar objectives. As a consequence, this collaboration leads to the creation and modification of messages by each middle agent (as in, for example, transaction amount, consumer name, some public certificates, and so on). The e-transaction process is a complex one because it has, for instance, numerous exchanges between the different partners. There are many applications of e-transactions systems such as e-commerce, e-administration, e-medical, e-science, e-government …

Many aspects contribute to the functioning of e-transactions systems such as security aspects (authentication, confidentiality, ...), architecture (such as Cap, 3D secure, ...), privacy of the cyber-consumer, responsibility level of the different partners, benefits of new technologies (mobile, contact-less, biometrics), and many possible application domains.

We invite original contributions from researchers in academia, research institutions and industry on these emerging and important areas of information technology. This Workshop on E-Transactions Systems - to be held as part of the 2012 International Conference on Collaboration Technologies and Systems (CTS 2012) - will focus on many topics, some of which are listed below.

Workshop topics include (but are not limited to) the following:
• E-Commerce Software Development
• E-Commerce Architecture
• C2C Architectures
• E-Token Architectures
• Agent Technology and E-Business
• Electronic Privacy
• Trust, Privacy and Security Issues in E-Commerce
• Trusted Circles
• Single Sign On Architectures
• Protection of the Cyber-Consumer
• Partners Responsibility Level
• Service Quality and Customer Satisfaction in E-Commerce
• Simulation of E-Transaction Systems
• Level of Trust Versus Level of Services
• Biometric Authentication for E-Transactions
• Mobile Commerce Applications, Architecture, and Technologies
• E-Administration and E-Medical Applications
• E-Government
Submission Instructions:
You are invited to submit original and unpublished research works on above and other topics related to e-Transactions. Submitted papers must not have been published or simultaneously submitted elsewhere. Submission should include a cover page with authors' names, affiliation addresses, fax numbers, phone numbers, and email addresses. Please, indicate clearly the corresponding author and include up to 6 keywords from the above list of topics and an abstract of no more than 450 words. The full manuscript should be at most 8 pages using the two-column IEEE format. Additional pages will be charged additional fee. Please include page numbers on all preliminary submissions to make it easier for reviewers to provide helpful comments. Submissions must be uploaded to the following website: http://www.enseignement.ensicaen.fr/openconf/.

Only PDF files will be accepted, uploaded to the web site above. Each paper will receive a minimum of three reviews. Papers will be selected based on their originality, relevance, technical clarity and presentation. Submission implies the willingness of at least one of the authors to register and present the paper, if accepted. Authors of accepted papers must guarantee that their papers will be registered and presented at the workshop.

Accepted papers will be published in the Conference proceedings. Instructions for final manuscript format and requirements will be posted on the CTS 2012 Conference web site. It is our intent to have the proceedings formally published in hard and soft copies and be available at the time of the conference. The proceedings is projected to be included in the IEEE Digital Library and indexed accordingly.

Selected papers, after peer reviewed, will be published in a special issue of an international journal.

If you have any questions about paper submission or the workshop, please contact the workshop organizers.
