The 3-days National Level Workshop on Modern Control Engineering (MCE-MATLAB 2014) is primarily designed and aimed for the faculty members and research scholars of the Departments of EEE, ECE, EIE and ICE at various Engineering Colleges and Universities, who are teaching or conducting research on modern control systems.

This workshop is jointly organized by the Academic Staff College and the School of Electrical Engineering at Vel Tech Dr. RR & Dr. SR Technical University.

Objectives

1) This hands-on training workshop will teach both the theory and MATLAB methods for the current topics of Modern Control Engineering.
2) The participants will get to learn how to use MATLAB software to solve the classical problems on linear control systems using state models.
3) The participants will also get to learn how to use MATLAB software to solve simple problems on nonlinear control systems using state models.
4) This workshop will be very useful for researchers and faculty working in Modern Control Engineering.
