The theme for the Second International Conference on Open and Flexible Education is ‘Making Learning Mobile and Ubiquitous’. It will explore the approaches, means and experience of adopting latest technologies and innovations, particularly mobile technologies, which facilitate learning anytime and anywhere, in a flexible and personalized mode of education to cater for the diverse needs of different learning communities.

Subthemes of the conference include the following:

1. mobile learning and open/flexible education modes;
2. ubiquitous learning and open/flexible education modes;
3. use of technologies to enhance ubiquitous teaching and learning;
4. innovations in open/flexible curriculum development and pedagogy;
5. social media and ubiquitous learning; and
6. open educational resources and ubiquitous learning.

Papers on other areas relevant to the conference theme will also be considered.
