Call for Papers:
The workshop on additive manufacturing has its focus on the presentation and discussion of new ideas, technologies, and several effects (such as social, economic, ...) of this paradigm.

We further welcome work in progress within this workshop. You can also download the Call for Papers here [http://www.iris.uni-stuttgart.de/fileadmin/user_upload/iris/cfp-informatik-16.txt|TXT] [http://www.iris.uni-stuttgart.de/fileadmin/user_upload/iris/cfp-informatik-16.pdf|PDF].

Important Dates:
Submission: May 16, 2016 (generally extended deadline)
Notification: May 26, 2016
Registration: August 08, 2016 (Early Bird)
Workshop: September 26, 2016

Organising Committee:
Felix Baumann, baumann@informatik.uni-stuttgart.de
Prof. Dieter Roller, roller@informatik.uni-stuttgart.de
Christoph Hochreiner, c.hochreiner@infosys.tuwien.ac.at
Thomas Ludwig, thomas.ludwig@uni-siegen.de
Prof. Volkmar Pipek, volkmar.pipek@uni-siegen.de

Theme:
We welcome papers in the area of additive manufacturing addressing its implications, techniques, and technology. The topics of this workshop are centered around additive manufacturing and associated paradigms. Analysis, synthesis or simulation of additive manufacturing technologies are as welcome as practical evaluations, human-computer-interaction, use case-driven feasibility studies, implication analysis or technology adoption models.
Topics include, but are not limited to:
- Additive Manufacturing (AM) Techniques/Technologies
- AM Methodologies
- AM under the Industry 4.0 paradigm
- Design/Construction for AM
- AM Strategies
- Cyber-Physical Systems within the AM domain
- Hybrid Manufacturing
- Concepts for Integration of AM
- Networking and Integration of AM Processes and Processparticipants
- Human-Machine/Computer Interaction for AM
- Simulation of AM and its Processes
- Process Oriented AM
- Collaborative AM
- Assisting- and Supporting Systems for AM
- Software- and Usability-Engineering for AM
- Appropriation of AM Systems
- Cultural, Social, Economical and Ecological Aspects and Effects of AM

Submission:
We are looking forward to two types of contributions for the workshop "Additive Fertigung/3D Druck – Technologie, Auswirkungen und Chancen / Additive Manufacturing/3D Printing - Technology, Effects and Chances". All papers must be submitted following the instructions at the workshop submission site, handled by [http://conference.aau.at/e/am-workshop|INDICO].
Results can be presented in talks or tool demonstrations. Submissions will be reviewed by at least two reviewers each in order to assure general fitness regarding content, readability and scope.
Depending on innovation, technical soundness and presentation clarity, papers may be rejected or accepted as position, workshop or tool demonstration papers. Selected contributions will be considered for a special issue in a high impact journal. We ask each submitter to review one other submission. The language of the submission and the presentation is English. The two types of contributions are:

Standard Contribution Papers:
Standard Contribution Paper are regular contributions that describe original solutions in field of this workshop. These papers must not exceed 14 pages (LNI style). Standard Contribution Papers are reviewed according to the Call for Papers. Accepted papers shall be included in the proceedings and presented at the workshop.

Positions papers
Position papers should draft a novel idea for discussion at the workshop. Position papers should only be an extended abstract and must not exceed 4 pages (LNI style). Position papers are briefly reviewed according to the Call for Papers. The main idea and the relation to existing work should be contained. Accepted papers shall be included in the proceedings and presented at the workshop.

The LNI style can be downloaded [https://www.gi.de/index.php?id=171|here].
