The 8th International Symposium on Semiconductor Light Emitting Devices (ISSLED2010) will be held in Beijing, China. This symposium aims to provide a platform for scientists and engineers to discuss progress and future trends in the rapidly advancing wide bandgap semiconductor science and technologies, and their applications into visible and ultraviolet light emitting diodes and diode lasers. The format of the symposium provides invited and contributed presentations during the meeting, followed by alternative tours of cultural and historic sceneries in Beijing.
