CALL FOR PAPERS

The 2010 International Workshop on High Performance Computing
Technologies and Applications (HPCTA 2010)
May 21-23, 2010, Busan, Korea
http://www.editorialsystem.net/HPCTA-2010

In conjunction with

The 10th International Conference on Algorithms and Architectures for Parallel Processing (ICA3PP 2010)
http://cse.stfx.ca/~ica3pp2010/

PURPOSE AND SCOPE
The rapid advancing computer architectures and interconnection networks has brought about great progresses in computing power that scientists and engineers now can solve large-scale problems they would not dream about just a few years ago. While Petaflop systems are emerging in some nation-level institutes for high-end users, personal supercomputers gradually become reality in individual labs and offices. As a result, high performance computing has been evolved into a technology indispensable to scientists and engineers for their research and applications.

HPCTA 2010 provides an international forum for HPC researchers, developers, and users throughout the world to exchange and share their new ideas, applications, experience and future development suggestions on all aspects of high performance computing.

Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
*Algorithms and Applications for HPC
*HPC in Cloud
*System Architecture and Models for HPC
*System Software for HPC
*Grid/Cluster/GPU Computing and its applications
*e-Science and/or Cyber-infrastructure
*Computational Science & Scientific Computation
*Parallel Programming and Algorithms
*High Performance Network and Networked Applications
*Performance Modeling and Evaluation
*Parallel I/O and Storage Systems
*Resource Management and Job Scheduling

PAPER SUBMISSION
Submit original unpublished papers in PDF or Ms-Word formats at the workshop submission system: http://www.editorialsystem.net/HPCTA-2010. All submitted manuscripts will be reviewed at least by three expert reviewers. Submissions will be judged on originality, technical strength, quality of presentation, and relevance to the workshop scope.

All accepted papers will be included in the ICA3PP-10 workshop proceedings published by IEEE. Final author manuscripts will be 8.5” × 11” (two columns IEEE format), not exceeding 8 pages;max 2 extra pages are allowed at additional cost. Helpful information for paper formatting can be found in the website. After author notification, the online author kit will be given on the website. Please format your camera-ready version according to this kit finally. Authors of accepted paper, or at least one of them, are requested to register and present their work at the conference, otherwise their papers will not be published.
