CALL FOR PAPERS
20th International Conference on Bio-inspired Systems and Signal Processing (BIOSIGNALS_CHINA) Submission Deadline: September 15, 2026 In Cooperation with: Association for the Advancement of Artificial Intelligence European Association for Signal Processing European Alliance for Medical and Biological Engineering and Science Finnish Society for Medical Physics and Medical Engineering Swiss Society for Biomedical Engineering International Society for Computational Biology Proceedings will be submitted for evaluation for indexation by: SCOPUS Google Scholar DBLP Computer Science Bibliography Semantic Scholar Engineering Index Web of Science / Conference Proceedings Citation Index The event will be of hybrid nature, in the sense that online presentations of accepted papers will be possible for those authors that are unable to travel to the venue. https://biosignals_china.scitevents.org/ May 14 - 16, 2027 Nanjing, China --------- Scope: The purpose of the International Conference on Bio-inspired Systems and Signal Processing is to bring together researchers, professionals, and practitioners from multiple areas of expertise working at the intersection of engineering, mathematics, statistics, computer science, data science, biology, physics, and medicine, interested in developing, applying, and testing algorithmic tools, models, and techniques to solve challenging problems in biology, medicine, cognitive science, sport science etc. Contemporary research in such areas is based on biological measurements based on a variety of signal types such as arising from bio-mechanical, thermal, electrical, magnetic, electromagnetic processes, and those arising from other biological sources of information. Since analysing and using different types of data often requires cross-disciplinary expertise, skills, and collaborative efforts, this conference was created with the aim to be a high-quality forum to celebrate and disseminate such research efforts, and encourage interdisciplinary interactions and collaboration. BIOSIGNALS_CHINA is organized in 1 major tracks: Bio-inspired Systems and Signal Processing Conference Chair(s) Hugo Gamboa, Nova University of Lisbon, Portugal Giovanni Saggio, University of Tor Vergata, Rome, Italy Program Chair(s) Raquel Bailon, Independent Researcher, Spain Vaidotas Marozas, Kaunas University of Technology, Lithuania Huiguang He, The University of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, China Program Committee https://biosignals_china.scitevents.org//ProgramCommittee.aspx BIOSIGNALS_CHINA Secretariat biosignals.secretariat@insticc.org Address: Avenida de S.
