Chairing the world's first academic conference on 'Industry 4.0' ("Looking Beyond Industry 4.0") funded by the EPSRC (UK's NFS) held at University of Glasgow in 2017, I welcomed delegates with a message that "The 'Fourth Industrial Revolution', unlike its predecessors, is the first industrial revolution that is being manufactured a priori by human beings, and the first to elevate the industrial revolution that aided and liberated human physical labour to one that aids and liberates human mental labour, through artificial intelligence. It brings unprecedented opportunities!" Today, a decade later, artificial intelligence marches on in its earnest, but how will AI shape the "Fourth Industrial Revolution"? Where will the Large Language Model go from here? How will its evolution towards the physically-aware World Model lead robotics R&D with embodied intelligence? Join us and find it out at ISoIRS'27 & EIWM'27, to be held here at UESTC Shenzhen Institute for Advanced Study during 23-25 April 2027.
