Call for Papers & Mentors
NAACL 2027 Student Research Workshop San Francisco, California, USA Pre-submission mentorship deadline: November 16, 2026 Direct paper submission deadline: January 11, 2027 Workshop website: https://naacl27-srw.github.io/ Overview The Student Research Workshop invites student researchers in computational linguistics and natural language processing to present their work and receive feedback from the conference community and mentors matched to their research topics. Submission Categories - Thesis proposals: for PhD students seeking feedback on their thesis direction, research plan, and framing. - Research papers: completed work or work in progress with preliminary results. The first author must be a current student or have completed the work while a student. Submission Information Papers should be submitted through OpenReview. Long papers may contain up to 8 content pages and short papers up to 4, with additional pages permitted for references and supplementary material. Authors may choose archival or non-archival submission. Archival papers will appear in the NAACL 2027 SRW Proceedings. A non-archival submission cannot be changed to archival after acceptance.
